Hello again,

We find ourselves here again, sitting on the couch, on a Saturday evening, too hungover to go out again. So what do we do? Let’s watch X Factor. I know I know…save me all the crap. It is rubbish, but there are at least 4 good reasons why to watch it if you are struggling to think of any.

See? I love my girlfriend but when I’m practically tortured into watching it (glass of wine) I need something eye candyish to look at. Just like she had her eye candy when she watched the movie 300. There, possible argument settled pre-argument.

I didn’t really ever want to find myself writing a blog about the X Factor but you see, I used to have 5 reasons why I watched it. But then this happened..

Yes, I’m sure most of you are well aware of this happening a few weeks back and my up to date and ‘current’ blogging skills missed the boat on this but it’s something I suddenly wanted to rant about. Lucy got kicked out over ‘Jedward’. I thought Lucy was genuinely a good singer and well, quite hot. So she was the 5th reason.

It generally raised a few questions, “Why?” being the core question. X factor spend weeks and weeks filtering out crap singers and acts and it always boils down to if they can sing or not. In my opinion, Lucy can sing, whilst ‘Jedward’ sound like two caged chickens on crack.

But, there is reason behind all this madness. Simon is a genius and really, it’s all about the money.

Most of us already know this and if you didn’t then you’re probably an idiot.

What really gets me though is for how long these two little scrotums went on in the competition and why the public voted for them? Entertainment? Did they really entertain you? Are you telling me you’d love to hear them singing on the radio? Or go see them at a concert? I direct you HERE if so.

The twins have since been booted off the show (last week) and they’ve been offered loads of contracts. They’re even doing a movie I hear.

But I ask you this, where’s Lucy? Whilst those two fucknuts cash in on being shit, Lucy I guess, is back in her home town singing to her local crowd in a pub and forever will be known as “The good singer who got kicked out before Jedward”.

All because Simon Cowell chose to keep on an act which would raise the shows profile and in turn raise the amount of phone voting, thus making him more money. When asked why he didn’t just choose to remove the twins from the show he said something in the shape of:

“Listen, I left it for the public to decide, if you don’t want to see the better acts be kicked out then vote for them, simple as that”

He did not say:

“Just don’t vote for Jedward”

Of course he did not because if you translate them both, one means more money please and the other means less money please.

Good luck ‘Jedward’. Remember, you got one of the lowest vote counts the last 2 weeks running, the idiots who backed you got bored. The swarm of X Factor viewers have moved on and your time will be short.

I won’t be watching it tonight now that I’ve written this. I’m actually a bit pissed off.

If you’re sitting there thinking, what was the conclusion of this blog? Well there is none. I can’t even conclude why I watch the show let alone spend time writing about it or ‘design’ little pictures.
